WOW!!! A bike check for myself.... Hahaha!!! I pussyed out and cut down my bars a bit and got that cheater stem for big bars. That stem though was the first one out of the S&M factory before they were available for sale. The next set-up will be legit. The front tire was purchased when I was up in Oregon about a year and a half ago. Had the same grips for over 2 years now..... they broke in right!!! No pins on one side of the right pedal for pedal grinds. Second set of wombolts.... Warranty bitch!!! I REALLY WANT A STRANGER FRAME.....

The little guy of our crew is now using Brandon's old Fly Tierra frame. He was previously using a Trek Chocolate.... excuse me MirraCo Chocolate frame. Hahaha.... I guess the way the Tierra is set up is close to feeling like the Chocolate he had before. He always has problems with those Hollowbite crank arms, so he'll be using my Powerbite arms pretty soon. Lucky to have friends like us.....

So Nich is usually indecisive when it comes to running pegs. Usually he has only two, but since he was all over the Dave Thompson jock he went with the 4 peg set-up. Trying to pull switch ice's over boxes and hubba drops and shit. Also, fucker is indecisive with what color to paint his bike. According to him, he's already got 7 layers of paint. I don't think this set up is gonna last that long..... CULT BABY CULT!!!

So I bet you're wondering about the mispelled words. That's because Dyran (Dylan Gushi) is a Japanese Reprechaun. So where there should be "L's", there are "R's". Hahahaha..... But this bike is cherry!!! First off, it got a custom powder coat from Mekala's Powder Coating which is sick.... Translucent Purple!!! Next, it's got U-brake mounts instead of V-brakes. The front wheel was personally laced by Dyran himself (hence he is our skate guy at the shop). Those hubs were Duane's old ones that he handed down to him. You just gotta see this bike up close..... It's a beauty!!!

WTF!!! ROAD CONSTRUCTION.....

So for the last how many weeks now, there has been cops parking in my drive way and big ass trucks parked in front of my car doing road work. I don't know what the fuck they're fixing but it sucks waking up to huge ass jackhammers, bulldozers, and other bullshit!!! Irritating as fuck!!! Here's what my drive way looks like..... Ain't that some shit!!!

Funny Shit!!!

Hahaha... That's some funny ass shit that S&M went and fucked around with Kevin Kiraly about the free tattoo he earned from Big's by winning the rail jam. When he and the Verde boys were down here he was talking about getting some kind of chest piece, but never said what it was gonna say. Then S&M goes and drops this picture of his chest piece and a lot of fuckin' dumb ass kids believed it.... Stupid Asses!!! To see the dumb comments kids left, check out THE COME UP and to actually see the REAL piece, peep SHOOTSBRAH!

Yeah Verde!!!

The Verde Bikes team was on island since last week Tuesday cruising and filming for an upcoming video. The crew consisted of Brian Yeagle, Kevin Kiraly, Dave Thompson, newly added Justin Burns who heads their AM division and Will Stroud and Rob Dolecki behind the lens. I had the privilege to take those guys around for majority of their stay and DAMN... was it a blast!!! So much shit went down with those guys that I'll just save the juicy details for when the video comes out. Nichy B., James, and Christian also got in on the fun and took those guys around to couple spots. I didn't take any pictures because my iPhone was in Texas but, I don't think it mattered. Everything was taken in at the moment. But yeah, the guys dipped out earlier tonight back to their respective homes with great memories the island had to offer them. Super sick times..... Hopefully there's more to come!!!

HOLY FUCK..... STREETS OF MADNESS 5!!!

Stole the info from Braddah Shoots!!!

Y'all ready for 'dis? We will be running the contest just like last year. Everybody shows up at 8:00am on March 6th at Kaka'ako Waterfront Park. Teams are limited to between 3 and 5 riders, period. Keep your guest appearances to a minimum. Videos are between 5 and 10 minutes . . . again, period. Everyone will meet up at Hooter's in the Aloha Tower Market Place on Sunday, March 7th at 8:00pm. Please be on time. I'd prefer to not keep the Hooters Girls there any later than we absolutely have to. I have a stopwatch and I'll be stopping the videos at 10 minutes so the pretty ladies can go home. If you have any questions, please contact us through duane@shootsbrah.com.

Sooo, Duane's bike is pretty sick!!! It's a Cameron Wood frame that he had the guys at S&M customize with a Tiki headtube from the LE "Tiki" LTF's. The difference is his headtube doesn't have the bottle opener cut out. His brake system could quite possibly be as old as me. It's the brakes he was using when he was racing. This set-up weighs in at under 22lbs. Oh yeah, don't forget about that dope ass S&M pad set.... CHEEEE!!!!
